Fully Non-Custodial Security​

Alpaca Wallet is non-custodial. This is the most important security feature to understand.

What does "Non-Custodial" mean? It means you are the only person who controls your funds.

  • No Middlemen: Your private keys (Seed Phrase) are encrypted and stored solely on your device.
  • No Server Risk: Alpaca LLC never sees your keys. Even if our servers went offline, your money would remain safe on the blockchain.
  • Total Ownership: We cannot freeze your account, reverse transactions, or access your money.
Your Responsibilty
